I really enjoyed my time at Rockledge Institute. I not only gained the skills I needed to become a great barber, I also learned a tremendous amount about life. I appreciate the style of teaching, it was like no other school I’ve previously attended. It gave me the confidence I needed to allow me to become more comfortable working behind the chair. 10/10 - couldn’t be more grateful of my experience at Rockledge Institute. Mr. Mitchell is a stand-up instructor who has credible foundation as a barber with a wealth of knowledge to help anybody succeed in the barber industry and in life.

I am a former student of Rockledge Institute and I would like to leave my honest review, there have been 3 major things I have learned from this journey: 1. “Common sense isn’t that common.” 2. “No one is in charge of your happiness, except you.” 3. “ The reason it is so hard for you to stay happy is because it is so easy for you to get offended. If you want to make it easier to stay happy. Make it harder to get offended.” This was an extremely hard concept for me to understand until now, the Rockledge Institute has given me the mentality and skills I need to pursue what I went there for and I am extremely grateful I was able to have this experience. Thank you for your patience and kindness you have shown me along the way. If you have made it to this point in the novel I have written, thank you, and I have one more thing to say. To all the doors that have closed to me, I’m coming back to buy the building.

I went to the Rockledge Institute roughly 2 weeks ago, nervous as I had never went to a “beauty school” before to have my hair cut. You can’t beat the prices so I figured why not. My greeting was a little rough but I take the blame for that. Yvette greeted me warmly and answered my initial questions. I was unaware I would be getting my hair cut and have multiple students watching but I should’ve expected that. Everyone was so friendly and Yvette was so patient and professional. I was ecstatic when my hair was finished. I had a large amount of hair cut off and loved my layers. I’ll definitely be back as soon as I can!

I enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician program and I can say that was one of the best decision I’ve made. I completed the program and am now working as a pharmacy Tech, my experience with the program was absolutely wonderful, it feels like being around family . The pharmacist Dr. Tracy is wonderful , experienced and an excellent teacher . 👍
